How To Create Affiliate Marketing Campaigns That SELL

December 29, 2018 by Josh Elder

Today, I’m gonna show you how to create affiliate campaigns that sell.

Over the past few weeks, 21 days to be exact, I’ve been able to generate over $18,000 inside of my affiliate marketing business, and in todays post, I’m gonna show you exactly how I did that step by step and click by click.

Before we begin…

If you’re curious to know what’s working for me when to comes to making money online and affiliate marketing, check out my recommendation below the video…

It’s helped me generate a consistent 5 figures per month and helped thousands of others as well.

Driving Traffic To Your Affiliate Marketing Campaign

The first thing that we need inside of our affiliate marketing business, is traffic, right? We need to send traffic to an offer.

Most of us know that. Traffic is simply eyeballs to a specific offer, to a sales page, to a landing page, so on and so forth.

So the first thing that we wanna do, is we wanna create a result. We wanna create a success story, we wanna build off of that success story.

So, number one, what we do is we go to a solo ad vendor or make a post on Facebook informing our audience about our specific offer.

Affiliate Marketing Sales with Solo Ads

Now, most people that are less experienced, maybe you’re somebody that’s getting started, solo ads are gonna be the best way to start.

Here’s where most people struggle when it comes to solo ads…

They’ll send out one solo ad and get a flood of leads and may or may not get any sales

Next, they’ll look at their account and notice that they didn’t make any money, and they tend to quit.

They say this thing doesn’t work. Well, they forgot the other part of the formula: most people are looking for the 20% of people up front trying to make money from them. People often forget about the 80% of people that are ready to buy later down the road.

So the first order of business is to get the offer out there to the marketplace.

Create Your First Result with Solo Ads

The next order of business, is we wanna create our first result.

If we send out a solo ad, maybe we get some sales, maybe we don’t get some sales.

That’s okay because we’re thinking longterm here.

You may want to send out your offer once again to that list that you just created from that initial solo ad.

So you’re gonna think about a different angle to email your list and let them know about the same thing. Requires a little ingenuity, just a little bit of creativity, but when you do this correctly, you begin to create results.

The idea from the get-go is to create that first result, create that first success.

Testimonials For Your Affiliate Marketing Campaign

You may be promoting an affiliate product in the weight loss industry.

What you wanna do is go through that product and become a testimonial for them.

Document the results and the progression of the results from the training that you’re getting from that specific product.

RECOMMENDED: Go Here to See My No.1 Recommendation for Making Money Online

My Affiliate Marketing Campaign

So let me illustrate exactly how that works.

What I personally did, is I sent an email out to my current list letting them know about a new system that had been released to the marketplace. That allowed me to get my first result.

It allowed me to create my first $500 within one day. Now, when people create their first result, that’s typically where they stop. They don’t continue and build off of that result.

This is where consistency needs to take place. You need to be putting out content every single day, building off of that previous result.

In this case, what I did was I made one video, and I said, ‘Hey guys, I sent an email out to my list, ‘the response was amazing, here are the results that I got.’ And I’d show them my income proof. And at the end of it, I’d say, ‘Hey, if you’d like to plug into the same system, ‘just click the link below and check it out.’

Really no hard selling whatsoever, I just let the proof do the talking.

This is a method that I call ‘selling without selling’.

It’s the ability to demonstrate that your process, that your product, that your service, that whatever you’re promoting works, and showing your prospect that it works, and then just simply at the end asking, ‘Hey, would you like to learn more? ‘Would you like more information?’ And then including a link in the description of your video.

RECOMMENDED: Go Here to See My No.1 Recommendation for Making Money Online

Building Off Your Affiliate Marketing Successes

So I did that in video one, I did that on video two, I did that on video three, and I made about nine videos showing the progression of the specific campaign.

The key here, you guys, is to continually build off of your previous results. What I’m doing is I’m using mediums such as YouTube, I’m using my email list, I’m exposing them to an offer, and then I’m building off of my success as a result, re-emailing my list, uploading more YouTube videos, showing the progression and my progress of the specific product that I went through.

And that’s the idea here.

If you look at my YouTube channel here, you can see the result. And this is something that anybody can do.

Episode one, I basically explain to people, ‘Hey, guys, check it out, I just ‘launched this new campaign and I wanna document ‘how it’s going here on YouTube. ‘And if you wanna join me along the way, ‘there’s a link in the description, you can do that.’

And so, what I’m doing is I’m exposing that video to my current subscriber base on YouTube, and I’m taking that video and I’m emailing that video out to my email list, okay, very simple, very easy. And then I repeated that process.

Episode two, episode three, episode four, episode five, all the way up to episode eight. And then I actually did a review on the product at the very end, showing them my overall results in 21 days flat.

So becoming a testimonial of the product is absolutely huge.

Results from My Affiliate Marketing Sales

As a result of doing this, I’ve been able to create over $18,000 in 21 days, I showed some of you guys this the other day, if you didn’t see this, you can see just by simply following this process right here:

In one income stream I generated over $13,000; in the next income stream, $970; income stream after that, $4,174.50; income stream after that, $349.90; and the income stream after that.

If we add up these two figures, that’s right around $1300 or so.

That adds up to over $18,000, you can feel free to do the math, and I hope you’re excited to go out there and implement this inside of your own business.

Content Creation Strategies:
How to Create Valuable Video Content Online

Hey guys, what’s going on? Joshua Elder here. Welcome back to the channel. If you haven’t subscribed already, please consider doing so. I’m always uploading videos on a daily basis, teaching you how to build a life and business full of freedom, passion, and fulfillment. And in today’s video, I think this is by far the most important topic that we can talk about when it comes to online marketing, because we know that content is king.

I’m going to show you the process that I go through, how I create quality, valuable content, and how you can do the same thing, even if you feel like you know absolutely nothing. So, let’s go ahead, and let’s dive into the content, and I will show you my exact creative process.

The Process

Okay, so let me give you the process that I use to create content. It’s actually very, very easy. For so many years, I dealt with constant overwhelm and hitting brick wall after brick wall when it came to creating content. I’d wake up in the morning, I’d pull out my notepad, and I’m like, “Okay, this is what I’m going to create this week, these are the videos that I’m going to structure, here are the topics I’m going to talk about,” and I would hit a brick wall. I’d get writer’s block. I wouldn’t know what to even begin with or what to talk about, until I finally realized and sort of changed my paradigm, and looked at content creation from a completely different light.

And it’s as simple as this:

It’s documenting versus creating. Okay? I’m going to say that again. Documenting versus creating. Most people are trying to create, and when you create, creating requires a lot of research, a lot of work, a lot of perfectionism, and a lot of times, you never get started because you’re trying to create the perfect script for every single video that you create, instead of just putting content out there and just getting it done. So, when it comes to documenting, you feel like when you are speaking on camera, it’s so much more natural, and whatever idea that you’re talking about is still fresh in your mind. Okay?

Document Your Day

So, for example, if I’m talking about creating content, right, and I just had this big realization that I could actually observe my last day, let’s … For example, what did I do yesterday? Okay, I got up in the morning, I brushed my teeth, okay, I got breakfast, I studied some personal development. I could talk about a subject on personal development that I had learned. It’s a big part of building my business and building a business online, which is what I teach. What else did I do? I studied some cryptocurrency, studied some charts, some new ICOs, some new cryptocurrency coins that are coming out. I made some trades, that’s something that I could talk about. I educated myself on how to invest in the right cryptocurrencies, so that’s another topic that I could talk about.

So, you want to make sure that you … Whatever you’re learning, right, you don’t want to reinvent the wheel. We’re always learning new things every single day, and we could be giving those new things that we’re learning, those new concepts, those new ideas, and we could be passing those ideas down to other people and teaching them in a way where we don’t feel like we’re having to pre-plan everything, right? GaryVee is a perfect example of this. If you go to his channel — I’ll link it up in the description below — go to his channel, and you take a look at some of his videos, or mostly all of his videos, he’s documenting. He’s documenting what he’s doing at work, his travels, what he’s learning on a daily basis, how he’s growing his business, different events that are happening in his life. He has it all documented on video, so he’s not like, “Okay, this week, we’re going to start with this video, and we’re going to cover this, this, this, and this in this video,” and then have to plan it out, and then write the whole script.

Content Creation Strategies: Write It Down

I mean, it’s a lot of work, and that’s what kept me from getting started, you guys. That’s what kept me from being consistent in my business. So instead of doing that, instead of scripting, I decided to begin kind of bullet-pointing what I wanted to cover, and documenting what I had learned and what I’m learning as I’m learning it. So I think this is a great philosophy to adapt when you’re creating content, so look at your last day, look at your last week, right? And a lot of times, the creative process can be difficult, especially if you’re trying to pre-plan, like, for example, “I’m going to create three videos this next week,” or “I’m going to create a video a day.” Sometimes, you try and force content just to create it, because you feel like you need to put out content consistently every day to drive viewers, and maybe drive leads and sales in your business. But that’s a wrong way to approach it, because you’ll end up putting out content that isn’t as potent, that your audience won’t like as much, and you’re kind of tarnishing your brand.

Feel Inspired

So, what you want to do is, when you’re inspired, when you’re motivated, when you have an idea, or something that you learned that just popped into your head and it’s fresh, you can just be more on purpose, jump on camera, and shoot a video right then and there, versus trying to pre-plan everything. Because if you’re pre-planning everything, you don’t know what’s going to happen over the course of the week that you could be documenting, that may be transformational for your audience, versus trying to create everything when an event that you want to talk about has yet to happen, and so you’re ending up going out there and trying to do all this research, and trying to pre-plan everything, and it just becomes a whole heck of a lot more work.

So I want to inspire you this week, what I want you to do, I don’t care if you’re creating three videos this week, if you’re creating five videos, seven videos, forget about how much content you need to create, and create content when you’re only inspired, right, and when you’re growing. When you’re growing and you’re learning things, you’re going to have more content to create, so if you’re running into a brick wall because you feel like you have no value to give to the world and no content to create, chances are it’s probably because you’re not learning, you’re not growing. So be mindful of that, be aware of that. If you’re not educating yourself daily on what’s going on in your marketplace, going on in your niche, if you’re not reading books, if you’re not studying even other YouTube videos out there, other content, that’s probably the reason why you’re not … Why you’re running into writer’s block, why you’re not coming up with new content, is because of that.

Content Creation Strategies: Conclusion

So, make sure, guys, as you go through your week, go through your days, keep in mind to document, don’t create, and you’ll find that your content flows a lot better. You’ll find that you have to script less. All my videos are pretty much completely non-scripted. I jump on video, and I speak from the heart, and I speak when things are super fresh in my mind, and when I have a breakthrough, and the content comes across a lot more clear for my audience, they get a lot more value from it, and the process is a lot easier. So, with that said, this is Josh Elder signing off. If you got value from this video, give me a thumbs-up. Comment below. What’s your creative process like? Did this video make a difference in your creative process, and hopefully overcome those obstacles that come into play when creating content? Let me know below.

How To Sell Products On Youtube

Joshua Elder: Hey guys, what’s going on? This is Joshua Elder from joshelder.com. And in this video, I want to show you how to sell products on YouTube. And this a topic that I can definitely talk on because I’ve been selling products on YouTube for the past three years, believe it or not. I worked in retail jewelry for about seven and a half, eight years, and it was YouTube that allowed me to quit my job, and go full time and sell products using this specific platform.

Now, I’m going to give you some tips, some advice, and how to leverage the YouTube platform to sell products. And if you haven’t already, make sure you subscribe to this channel. I’m always uploading videos on a daily basis that will help you build the life in business full of freedom, passion, and fulfillment, so make sure you do that. And let’s go ahead and dive into the content.

Identify Your Target Market

So, number one, the first thing that you need to do is you need to identify your target market. Who is it that you’re speaking to? Who’s your avatar? Who’s your ideal customer? What I want you to do is, I want you to take a pad and a pen, and I want you to write down exactly what would your ideal prospect be typing into Google or YouTube search engines. So go ahead, pause the video and take a few minutes, and I want you to write down a list of 10 possible search phrases that your potential prospect or your potential client would type into youtube or google. So make sure that you really think about this. Get in their head. Think about what they think about when they get up in the morning. They brush their teeth, they take a shower, what are they thinking about when they drive to work? Do they have a job? Do they stay at home? What is it they do? What is it they’re thinking potentially at each point of the day?

Go ahead and write that down, and then after you write that down what you want to do is you want to start to construct a video around that specific problem within your niche. Don’t construct a video to answer every problem. You want to identify the specific micro problems and create content around them. What most people are doing is they create a piece of content and they just sell, sell, sell without any value whatsoever. So what you want to make sure that you’re doing is you’re using the strategy that I like to call selling without selling. Okay? So you’re providing value, and by providing value you’re instantly positioning yourself as an authority, and the people start to take you seriously. They know that you’re an expert and they’re more than likely to buy your products when you make a call to action at the end of your video.

How To Sell Products On Youtube – Content Is King

So content is key here you guys. Make sure that you write out a list of problems, you write out specific sub topics that you could be talking about within these problems and then what you want to do is you want to leave people wanting more of your information, and then what you can do is you can construct a webinar, you can send people to a sales page, you can send people wherever you want and what I would do is I would include a link in the description of your video telling people exactly where to go to get more information.

So the purpose of creating content is to really preframe them for what’s to come. Get them excited to digest more information and as they do that, they will automatically sell themselves. And so I’ve been highly successful by sending people straight to other people’s offers. Sending people to my own offers. Sending people from free training like this training that I just gave to you to maybe a webinar where they can get more of their questions answers and get a full look and a full idea of the steps they need to take next to ensure that they succeed with whatever it is that they’re looking to succeed with, so in your case, you want to be able to sell your products and services on youtube.

So what I’m going to do is I’m going to leave some resources in the description below that will help you accomplish just that. I’ve got a full formula laid out showing you how to script your videos, what to say in your videos, and how to rank youtube videos on the first page of google and youtube. How to get an endless amount of customers and leads inside your business daily using cost free youtube advertising strategies. So if you got value from this video, please like this video. Please comment below if you have any questions and most importantly, give me a thumbs up and subscribe to this channel, because I’m always uploading videos on a daily basis that will help you in every area of your life, and really helping you achieve full health and wealth, so appreciate you guys for watching this video. This is Josh Elder signing off, and we’ll see you in the next video.

How To Rank YouTube Videos On The First Page Of Google AND YouTube – 4 Ways To Get Views (2018)

Hey guys, what’s happening? It’s Joshua Elder here and in this video I’m going to show you how to rank on the first page of Google and also how to rank on the first page of YouTube, for your YouTube video. As you can see right here, out of 14,100 results at the very top of YouTube, over five point seven thousand views and you can also see it at the very top in the third position right here. So how is that after two years, almost three years now, I’ve ranked at the very top of Google and also at the very top of YouTube for this specific keyword phrase.

So what I’m going to do is I’m going to dive in and I’m going to show you exactly, step by step, how I did this and if you’d like, go ahead and subscribe to this channel. I’m always uploading videos on a daily basis. Teaching you how to build a business and a life full of freedom, passion, and fulfillment. So don’t forget to slam that red subscribe button, and let’s go ahead and dive into this video.

So what I’m going to do is I’m going to switch over to some slides here and these are the exact slides that I have in my brand new webinar, Tube Traffic Selling System, and if you want to get access to this whole entire webinar, you can just click the link in the description below. So this is the section that covers how to get views to your videos. Obviously, ranking in Google is one of them, ranking in YouTube is another, and so on, and so forth. We’re going to cover all of the different ways that there are to get views to your video. Specifically, we’re going to cover four ways within this video.

How To Rank YouTube Videos – Google Search

So let’s go ahead and start with Google Search, which you are already most likely familiar with. As you can see, not only was I able to rank, but there’s tons of other people ranking in Google for specific keyword terms. Now, bear in mind if you’re looking to rank a video at the top of Google, what I would do is I would first determine the topic of conversation, the topic that you want to talk on, and then go ahead and type that into Google. If there are other videos that are already ranking in Google, that’s a good indication that your video will rank too. So make sure that you check that from the get go.

 YouTube Search

So you can see that this specific video is ranked, I believe, in the third or fourth position. It looks like the fourth position here, for How to Reverse Diabetes Naturally. Also, you can see this same video is also ranked in YouTube search engine, which is the second to get free views to your video. And you can see, again, it’s ranked at the very top. Has 1.2 million views and these are views coming from different places like YouTube search engine, Google search engine, and we’re going to cover the two other search engines, or the two other ways of getting views to your video in just a moment.

YouTube Suggested Videos Area

So again, you can see this video right here, 1.296 million views to this video and this a combination of ranking in YouTube, ranking in Google, and also yes, suggested video section. This is a section on YouTube people most often underestimate. They don’t realize that about 60% to 70% of their views, on average, come from YouTube suggested search area. Now what is YouTube suggested search? Well, when you type in a specific keyword phrase, such as intermittent fasting, and you select a video, just like this one on intermittent fasting, you can see the highlighted area on the right hand side. And these are all videos that are related to the current video that you’re watching.

So what I would do if I were you, you should be having a light bulb moment here, is find videos that are super popular on YouTube. Create similar videos just like those videos and boom, you will end up showing up on the right hand side if you optimize your video correctly, optimize the title, the description, and the tags correctly. And if you want to know more about how to do this, there will be in fact a link below where you can get access to this whole entire webinar where we dive a lot more into detail on how to not only rank videos, but how to create your videos. What you need to say in your videos and we’ll cover the whole entire four-step video selling process.

So YouTube suggested video area is huge. Most people that watch videos, such as this video on intermittent fasting, are more than likely to watch the other videos on the right hand side because they are related. And the whole purpose of YouTube is to keep people on their platform. That’s why they have this suggested video section that suggests other videos that they would more than likely, want to watch. It’s kind of like when you go to Amazon.com and you purchase a product, you purchase maybe a men’s razor, and then they offer you more razors. Or they offer you shaving cream. Or they offer you an electric razor. Or they’ll offer you other men’s grooming products.

How To Rank YouTube Videos – YouTube’s Home Page

So that’s another way is to get into YouTube suggested section by optimizing your video similar to another video out there on YouTube that has a lot views, that’s going viral, that’s on a similar topic. The last way to get free views to your videos, we’ve covered Google Search YouTube Search, Suggested Video section on YouTube. Last, but not least, it’s going to be YouTube’s home page and this is pretty cool. If we go to YouTube’s home page right here, you’ll notice that there are videos on YouTube’s home page that are being suggested to me based off of videos that I’ve watched in the past.

So you can see, I’ve been doing some research on Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, so you can see the bottom left hand corner, John McAfee, Why Bitcoin will hit 500K in three years. I’ve been doing some research on Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg and in the areas of personal development and finance. So you can see Warren Buffet here. You can see Grant Cardone here on the right hand side. So this is another way you can show up on YouTube’s home page, if somebody has searched for topics that are similar to the topic of your video.

So you’ll notice, a video spontaneously will go viral because it ends up showing up on the homepage or it ends up showing up on YouTube’s suggested videos. So don’t just try and rank your videos, but optimize your videos in a way by making videos similar to other popular videos, so you can not only show up at the very top of the search engine, such as YouTube and Google, but you can show up in YouTube suggested videos area. Which is where, again, 60% to 70% of your video traffic will come from suggested videos, and then you’ll get a percentage from the homepage and from YouTube search and Google Search.

On Page Optimization

So we want to know now how do we get views from these specific sources? What are some other things that we need that I haven’t explained to this point? Number one, is we want on page optimization. So that refers to everything that’s on the page. It’s the title, the description, and the tags. So we first upload a video, we want to optimize our title, description, and tags in a way where the search engines will recognize what our video is about and rank that video at the top for any specific key word phrase that we’re trying to rank for. Or topic that we’re trying to rank for.

Off Page Optimization

Off page optimization refers to everything off the page. That’s basically back links. So I’m going to give you guys an overview of what back links are, and also I’m going to show you exactly how to properly optimize your title, description, and your tags. So here’s the first example of on-page optimization. The title, for example, if I was creating a video about YouTube video SEO tips, I’d want that specific title, I’d want that topic of conversation in the title. I want it also in the description, and I also want it in the tags. So you’re going to notice that the title is YouTube Video SEO Tips.

How To Rank YouTube Videos In Google – Backlinks

I’ve got that in my description, and I’ve also got that same keyword phrase in my tags. So what YouTube and Google is going to look at is they’re going to look at your title, does the title match what the consumer is typing into Google and YouTube? Does the description match? And do the tags match? Number two, here’s an example of off-page optimization. These are back links. And back links are just links that go from one site to another. What I want you to do is I want you to think of a back link as a referral. Let’s say there’s a brand new bakery in town. It’s popular because Ann went to the bakery, and she’s like, “Man, this muffin’s amazing, I’m going to tell Susan about it.”

And she tells Susan about it, and then Susan goes and tries that blueberry muffin, and then she tells John, and John tells Steve, and before you know it, there’s a frenzy going around about all this amazing food from this bakery. And then people start reviewing about that bakery, and it starts to gain momentum and popularity, and it becomes the talk of the town, the best bakery in the whole area. Now, what happens offline is similar to what happens online. When somebody finds an awesome video, they’re going to refer that video to other people and share it on Facebook, share it on social media, and then what it does is it tells Google and YouTube, “This video’s of value. People are sharing it. People are linking to it. People are embedding it on their blogs and their websites.”

So the more back links that we have from these other website to our video from people sharing, from people writing about it on their blogs, writing article about it and linking back to it, the more back links that we have, the higher our video is going to rank because it tells YouTube and Google that it’s of value. So you can see kind of what that looks like right here. We’ve got all these back links from different websites such as Google, Facebook, I think it’s kind of funny, there’s Myspace up here. You got Wikipedia. You got different blog sites on the left hand side here. You’ve got even from other YouTube videos to your YouTube video. That’s still considered a back link.

So the more links that you have from these other websites to your website and to your video, the higher you are going to rank. And it can get even more complicated than that. You have tier one back links, tier two, and then even tier three back links. These are the different types of back links that you can get. You can get comment back links, web 2.0s, articles, wikis, press releases, guest posts, PR links, and social bookmarked links. And again, here’s why we need them. They build authority. They show YouTube that our video is popular. And if we have enough of these back links, Google and YouTube will put our video on the first page.

Software For Backlinks

And there’s different ways that we can get them. We can spend tens of thousands of hours building them ourselves, or we can use different softwares like SEnuke or Article Wizard that cost anywhere between $100 to $200 a month. So some of the best back links for you YouTube videos though, to this day still, are social bookmarking back links from social bookmarking sites. So you can just go to Google and type in social bookmarking sites and you can see a bunch of these different social bookmarking sites. We got Reddit, StumbleUpon, Pinterest, Dig, Delicious, so on and so forth.

How To Create Social Bookmark Backlinks

And we just go to one of these and we create profile. Once we create that profile, we then put our YouTube video as a bookmark on that profile that we just created, and boom, guess what? We’ve got a back link. And you can see, we can even use SEnuke here to drive back links, but again, that’s more expensive. And it could be difficult to learn a brand new software. So if you want to see how I outsource my back links, so I don’t have to worry about this process, there’s specific outsourcers that I use. I’ll actually show you that within my webinar. You’ll be able to see the whole entire webinar, not just this section.
