$920 with Clickbank Affiliate Marketing and YouTube Paid Advertising

You guys haven’t seen writing posts in quite a while because I’ve been focusing on mastering YouTube ads further. I’ve been dabbling a little bit here and there for the past about two to three years, but decided to get super serious about YouTube ads, and the reason why is because if you watched one of my previous videos, I got sort of burn out from uploading constantly and keeping up with the YouTube algorithm, not that you need to upload constantly to succeed with YouTube.

I just felt that I sort of had to do that, and so that led to just me losing momentum and me not liking what I was doing. And so it’s not that affiliate marketing is bad, it’s that often we approach this business from the wrong perspective and with the wrong intentions. We really need to get clear on what we want and a game plan to help us accomplish that.

My Goal with Clickbank Affiliate Marketing

So my goal is to create a one to two-hour workday and live my perfect day every day and make at least five figures a month. I actually have a goal. I would absolutely love to make a million dollars in a year by working two hours a day, and I believe it’s truly possible when you have the right level of personal development, when you have the right strategy in place, when you have the right mentors.

And so I’ll eventually get there, and I think this is one of the turning points and this is kind of one of the strategies that I’m going to need to get there.

I’ve been in the lab just mastering YouTube ads. There’s a lot of moving parts, there’s a lot to it, but once you understand it, which is obviously my goal just to understand it on a completely deeper level, then I can teach you guys how to better deploy YouTube marketing, specifically paid ads inside of your business without dealing with a lot of the headaches and errors that I’ve dealt with in the past.

I’ve spent over $36,000 of my own money over the course of the past two years mastering YouTube ads, and I’ve been doing it for a while, and I knew enough to get by, but I really want to dig deep into optimization and all the intricate details that go along with YouTube ads.

We won’t get into that today, but I do want to show you what I’ve been up to.

The YouTube Marketing Campaign

Last Tuesday, today is Tuesday, October 9th, but last Tuesday I started running a brand new affiliate marketing campaign. I plan to have multiple campaigns running in different niches.

In this specific niche, you guys can see that I just started this campaign last Tuesday, and I kind of got lucky I think. Got a sale right out of the gate, and then went about a week without a sale, and that’s normal, especially when you’re tweaking the campaign, optimizing the campaign.

So everything is looking good. Very little optimization. What we’re going to start doing is optimizing this campaign, and what’s so cool about this specific campaign is my face is not involved, at least on the front end of this campaign, whatsoever.

So like my goal with this is not only create success with it, but to help other people duplicate it as well that may be newer online or people that may be looking for their breakthrough.

YouTube Paid Advertising Strategy for Clickbank

I’m not even using my own ads. I’m actually using somebody else’s ads.

It will continue to progress. It’s going to take a lot of testing, a lot of tweaking to as well. I know that. This is just the beginning, so I will continue to update you guys on my progress.

So if I’m not uploading quite frequently, it’s because I’m in the lab right now. I’m sharpening the saw. I’m in the trenches mastering a new trade. I’ve built a seven-figure business using free traffic strategies.

I’ve been doing free traffic strategies for the past three and a half, almost four years online, and it’s time to scale with paid traffic and really master paid traffic. So definitely will get deeper into the webinar game, get deeper into affiliate marketing, CPA marketing.

How I Made $7,729.78 In 1 Week With Clickbank Affiliate Marketing And YouTube

Hey, guys, what’s going on? Joshua Elder here. It’s been a few days since I posted a video. Wanted to shoot a quick video for you guys today showing you how to make money with clickbank and youtube.

How to Make Money With Clickbank and YouTube

What we’re going to do is we’re going to log into my ClickBank account first, and I’m going to show you the results of … Here we are on ClickBank. I’m going to go ahead and log in right here, and you can see this is the results from this whole last week. Up to the week ending of January 30th, we did 4,960.37. The week before that, we did 2,809.16, and then 01/16, we did 515 and then so on and so forth.

Let me go to the reporting and show you the last seven days so you can see that. If we go to last seven days, let’s see if it allows me to do that. Let’s try, maybe it was last Monday. Let’s go back to last Monday. Maybe that’ll make a difference. Let’s see. We’ll call it eight days. $7,729.76 from the 22nd to the 30th. Those are the results right there.

What I want to do is I want to break down step-by-step exactly how I was able to create this. I’m going to go over to email, first of all, and there was a bunch of emails sent out, and I get a lot of these. I’ve signed up for different JV lists, which is basically you partner with somebody else in the online marketing space in a specific niche, and then you have the opportunity to promote their launches when they launch a brand new product.

How do we find these products that we can go ahead and we can promote? This crucial guys. What we want to do is we want to go to a place called Jvnotifypro.com. You can go here or you can also go to MunchEye, and just like we can go to Rotten Tomatoes and we can see the launches of brand new movies that come out, here we can see the launches of brand new Internet marketing products.

Look For The Big Launches

What I want to do is I want to find Internet marketing products that are going to be big launches. We’re talking there’s going to be a lot of affiliates promoting, and the product owners are very, very well known, they have a good reputation, they have a lot of experience, they’ve been around for a while.

What I did is I went to JVNotifyPro, and you can go to either one of these. On MunchEye.com, you can see the big launches on the left-hand side here. This is typically all the launches that are going to have a lot of affiliates. We can also go to JVNotifyPro. We can scroll down here, and what I did is I went to January 23rd. This was back around the end of December, and I saw this offer by Aidan Booth and Steve Clayton. It’s The 7-Figure Cycle. It’s an eCommerce product, and what I did is I looked at the Clicks to JV page. If this over 1,000 unique clicks, even over 500, it means it’s going to be a pretty popular product. It’s going to be a good launch.

What I’ll also do is I’ll check out the JV Invite page. I think it’s probably going to make me log in here, but you can also see other affiliates that will be on board promoting this, and if there’s big affiliates that will be on board promoting this that are well known marketplace, that is an indicator that this is going to be a pretty big launch because there’s other well known marketers on board. There’s a few indicators that will determine the size of a launch, but I’ll typically look at the JV page, look at other affiliates that are promoting, and then I’ll look at the product creators, and if I recognize the names, then, typically, I go ahead and I’ll promote it if they’re well known, they have a good reputation.

Aidan Booth, Steve Clayton, they’ve been around for quite some time, so I knew this was going to be a pretty good launch, so I decided to say, “Okay. What I wanna do is I want to use one of my methods called Launch Jacking, which means I want to position myself to receive a lot of the traffic that will be coming through during this launch. What do I mean by that? Basically, what’s going to happen is this product’s going to launch, and a lot of these well known Internet marketers that have these big lists, they’re going to be sending out emails.

How to Make Money With Clickbank and YouTube – Prepare For The Buying Frenzy

They’re going to be sending out emails to their list saying, “Hey, go check out 7-Figure Cycle. Jump on this webinar and learn about 7-Figure Cycle.” What’ll happen is people will go on the webinar, and then after the webinar, they’ll go off, and they’ll go search around YouTube and Google to find other reviews on this product to find out if it’s really legitimate. To add to that, they’ll look for bonuses, and bonuses are basically other products that people will be offering as a bonus in conjunction with 7-Figure Cycle.

You probably want to purchase from somebody that is offering a bonus, more value to you, versus somebody that isn’t offering a bonus. These affiliates tend to make more money when they offer bonuses, and that’s exactly what I did that led to this amazing week that I had this last week.

Hopefully you’re following me here. That’s what I’ll do is I’ll first find a product that’s going to be big on JVNotifyPro, and then what I will do is I will gather all the swipes, the swipe files, for this launch. You want to make sure that, number two, that there are good promotional materials for the product that you’re looking to obviously leverage during the launch and promote.

What I’m going to do is I’m going to go over to my search results here, and I’ve pulled up all the JV emails that I’m going to get from Steve and Aidan or that I’ve gotten. When we go to the JV Launch page, we want to make sure we fill this out so we can receive all the promotional material. What I’m going to do is I’m going to click this top one here, and if I go to, “Click here for full details,” it will basically give you the strategy of what email to send out to your list and when, and it will also include swipes that you should be sending out to your list on any given day. It’ll say, “Okay, on Monday, you need to send out this email. On Tuesday, you need to send out this email,” so on and so forth.

The Email Sequence

If we scroll down here, you’re going to see email one is on Monday, email two is on Tuesday. This is actually this week. Email three is on Wednesday, or it looks like there’s another series of emails that say, “Coming soon.” This promotion is still going on this week. It’s actually a two-week promotion, which is one of the longest promotions I’ve ever seen. It’s still not over. I could be bringing in even more commissions because of this launch, and to add to that, guys, this is a quality product. You want to find a product in the marketplace that is in high demand, and, right now, eCommerce is in very, very high demand.

Basically, if I go over here to JVNotifyPro, again, you’re going to see that the launch begins on Wednesday, January 17th, and the launch day’s actually January 23rd, 2018, and then I’m not sure if it actually tells us when the launch ends. It looks like February 1st is when the cart closes. It looks like you got a good solid week and a half of promoting this specific offer.

The Process

Let me show you the process, the strategy that I use to launch this. Number one, what I did is I created what’s called a pre-launch video. You’ll notice that I created this video back in December 22nd. Why did I do that? Well, I wanted to position myself so when this specific product launched and people were going to YouTube and even Google to search for this product that I was positioned at the top so my video would actually be viewed first and it would rank.

The earlier that you upload a video, the more likely you’re going to rank higher in the search engine versus somebody that was to create a video on a certain subject later on. You’ve noticed probably after people create a video on a specific subject for so long, after, it becomes so saturated when you upload the video, it is very, very difficult to rank, so once I saw that this was launching on the 23rd, what I did is I went out there and I created this prelaunch overview video to kind of give people an overview of what this product’s going to be about, give them a little bit of insight, and then what would happen is I would create a bonus package. If I found the product to seem like it’s going to be a good quality product, I’ll create a bonus package that compliments the product.

How to Make Money With Clickbank and YouTube – Create A Bonus

If I go over here, you’ll notice that I actually created a bonus. If somebody bought the 7-Figure Cycle product, you’ll notice that I created three bonuses. You want to make sure that these bonuses compliment the product. If you’ve got an eCommerce product that you’re going to be launching, that you’re going to be promoting, then you probably don’t want to be promoting a bonus that has to do with, let’s see, with trying to make money by buying and flipping domains, just not relevant.
You’ll notice that my bonuses are completely relevant to the offer.

If we go to bonus number two right here, this is my Tube Traffic Selling System course. This is actually going to help people get more traffic to their listing on Amazon. This is all about making money on Amazon. This is going to help them get more traffic and get more sales into their Amazon eCommerce business. It compliments the product beautifully.

Then you can see I’ve got an affiliate marketing, How to Build an Affiliate Marketing Business from Scratch. This definitely is something, another income stream, that compliments the product. You can take a lot of these tactics and apply it to this eCommerce business.

All these offers are very, very congruent, all these bonuses, and we’ve got personal coaching up here.

Once they click here to get access to 7-Figure Cycle, and they send their receipt to me, then what I’ll do is I will give them access to all these bonuses, and then, of course, I get a commission for them purchasing through my link. The bonuses is huge. This will 10X your results and will increase your income by two to three times just with your launch and with your promotion. That’s why you see a huge spike …

Commission Results

If I go back here and I go to my dashboard, that’s why you see a huge spike in commissions right here, last Friday, did over $4,000 in a single day. I’ll make a bonus video and offer a bonus throughout the course of the launch and the promotion.

Purchase The Product On Day Of Launch

Then on the day of launch, I will actually purchase the product, and then I will go through it and give people a complete review. All right. That’s going to be right over here. You can see that I uploaded a video on YouTube, and I gave a complete review of this specific product. Then, again, I link out to my bonus page here, and then people can purchase here. People are more likely to buy from people that own the product and stand by the product.

You’re not going to … I’ve said this before. If you work at a Mercedes dealership and you own a BMW, you just bought a brand new BMW, you’re probably not going to sell that many cars when people ask you, “Well, do you have a Mercedes? How does Mercedes compare to this other brand?” If you got a completely different brand of car or whatever it is, clothing …

If somebody’s asking recommendation on clothing and you work in a clothing store, you don’t wear that specific brand that you’re selling, then people aren’t going to believe that the quality is what you say it is. You want congruency in your marketing completely, and I think by showing people the back office shows that, hey, you went out there with your own money, you purchased the product, which means you believe in the product, which means you can endorse the product.

Create A Facebook Group

One of the things that I’m doing with this specific product is I’ve got a Facebook group that I’ve created, and I’m going to be documenting my journey on YouTube of me learning from Steve and Aidan because I’m going to add an extra income stream with eCommerce, and people are going to be able to see the results, which is another thing, social proof. If you can create results from the product that you’re promoting, then that trumps everything.

If you go to my Digital Altitude Review videos, one of the products, one of the affiliate offers that I promote, you can see that I’m always giving updates, income updates. I’m showing you guys what the program or the products have done for me, and I’m showing you the income results. We want to make sure that we’re showing social proof.

How to Make Money With Clickbank and YouTube – Conclusion

That’s pretty much my promotion. That’s how I find a product to promote. That’s how I promote the product, and I make sure that I’m staying up-to-date with the emails that they send out because they’ll tell you to send out specific emails at specific times, and they did a great job with their launch. It’s been very successful. They’ve done webinars every single day.

This specific product broke records. It broke records on ClickBank, had the most sales in 24 hours, so it did extremely, extremely well, and I’m excited to be building my own eCommerce business and creating an extra stream of income.

Again, make sure that you’re promoting something you believe in, that you’re using. Make sure you do your research. You look at the product creators. You look at other affiliates that are promoting. Check out JVNotifyPro. Check out MunchEye. Create your promotional sequence. Create videos around this product and get people excited and give people, most importantly, knowledge and help them make an educated decision. This is not going to be for everybody.

So what is the number one secret to making money on the internet? Getting people, getting raving fans, getting people pulling out their credit card, dying to want to buy from you? Basically throwing their credit card at you. What is the single most important thing that you need to do?

How To Make Money With Clickbank Affiliate Marketing

It’s simple look at what everybody else is doing and do the complete opposite. In other words, be three steps ahead of everybody else. What do I mean by this? In the affiliate market space for example – I’ll go to YouTube and look at everybody else’s videos on YouTube, see what they’re talking about, take what they’re saying and flip it on it’s head.

For example, You know those long story posts that you see on Facebook? And it’s like the same old song and dance, you know? “If you were to tell me three years ago that I’d be traveling the world I would have told you you were crazy.” That’s typically what they start off with when they open their video or Facebook ad.

People are getting sick and tired of seeing that stuff. Yes to an extent what we want to do is model what’s already working out there in the market place But if you wanna stand head and shoulders above everybody else, what can you do to be one to three steps ahead of everybody else? You take what they’re doing and you “flip it on it’s head.”

“Flip it On It’s Head”

What do I mean by this?

Imstead of having another typical Facebook ad, like everybody else, maybe you say something like, “Are you sick and tired of these so-called gurus claiming that they’ve quit their nine to five job and they’re traveling the world? We know that that’s a bunch of hogwash, let me give you the truth to building a real internet marketing business. One where you’re able to work, realistically, no more than two hours a day. Let me give you some facts. Let me give you some in depth step-by-step information….”

And then give them value. this is also called reverse marketing

Other Examples Of Reverse Marketing

There’s commonalities between marketers in each and every niche. What I urge you to do is go out there, go on YouTube, look at people that are popular in your niche. Look at their channels, look at what they’re talking about on certain topics and how can you take that and not necessarily create negative content and talk bad about that person, but how can you flip it on it’s head, how can you give people a new refreshing perspective to building a business on the internet?

For example affiliate marketing niche, real estate, life coaching, or fitness. I’ve seen a lot of people do this. One person (in the fitness niche) that’s amazing at this that I can just think of off the top of my head is Greg O’Gallagher, of Kinobody. He took what most personal trainers were teaching: “Eat five to six small meals a day. Count your calories. Get in the gym every single day. Work out for an hour to two hours a day. Basically kill yourself in the gym. Dedicate yourself. Don’t go out and have fun with your friends. Don’t go out and eat delicious foods that you love.”

Greg took that narrative and flipped it on it’s head and said, “You guys don’t have to do any of that. You can use the power of intermittent fasting to push your first meal further out into the day and make dieting easy and effortless and still enjoy the food that you love while losing weight and building muscle at the same time. You can accomplish this by working out no more than three times a week.”

“Throw Rocks at Your Enemies and Pave a Path to a New Opportunity”

What we want to do, so to speak, is we want to throw rocks at our enemies and then we want to pave a new opportunity. Let’s take another example in the internet marketing niche. I would basically say: “Hey, it’s not your fault that you failed at internet marketing. It’s not your fault because the 96% of people that are failing are teaching the 96% of people that are failing. Unfortunately, you just got the wrong training by the wrong gurus out there….

…And not to mention even these people that are making 10, 20, 30 grand a month, they don’t even know how to teach. Making a lot of money is one thing but teaching is another thing. And they’re just not willing to put in the time and effort to teach a newbie, well, because it takes a lot of time and a lot of effort.”

So these are just examples that I’m giving you live and in action, that are coming into my mind right now. How can you go out there on these different platforms, reverse engineer what other people are doing, and either model it or flip it on it’s head and be two steps ahead of everybody else?

That is the key my friend to succeeding with marketing. You want to pave a new refreshing path. That’s why you see all these new diets come out, first it the South Beach Diet, then the Paleo Diet, Lemonade Diet, and then you get into intermittent fasting, and the Ketogenic Diet, and these new diets that are supposed to be groundbreaking, new, technological advancements of dieting. But it’s really nothing to do with that.

These are things that were always available to us, but what we’re doing is we’re reinventing them by changing the name.

How To Make Money With Clickbank Affiliate Marketing – Rebranding

For example the South Beach diet was simply called the low carb diet before, it’s one of those buzz words. All you have to do is reinvent it with a brand new name and people all the sudden think it’s like some new thing. Furthermore, It’s easier to blame someone else for your shortcomings vs yourself right? So whatever we can do to get someone to try something over again is to change the name and blame others. In other words”Hey, the reason you’ve failed it not your fault…..

Here’s a new opportunity.” So how can you do that in your marketing? How can you do that in the headline copy of your capture pages, emails, and facebook posts?
