I was just wondering, as someone that is very interested in getting started with Affiliate Marketing, if there was one place you would recommend someone to start where would it be or how?
In other words, What Is the best way to start affiliate marketing as a beginner?

Let’s start with part one of this answer…
Get A Mentor – Develop A Marketers Eye
I was writing a review on a recent product known as 30 Day Success Formula.
Many of my facebook friends and colleagues were promoting this business opportunity. From a consumers perspective it looks as if you could just promote it offline. In other words, you don’t have to do online marketing, deal with autoresponders, funnels, and all the other technical jargon that comes with making money online.
You could just simply send this physical “sales letter” out to people through direct mail and have cash coming to your mailbox within the first couple of weeks.
In my opinion, this just gives people false expectations. To add to that, a lot of these so called “leaders” were jumping on video and showing people how much money they were making as a result of marketing this business opportunity online. But, telling people that they could have success with it offline!
If you are reading between the lines you’d know these leaders were making money through online promotions. At that point, you’d probably question whether this offline marketing actually works. Without seeing through the B.S. most people would end up spending thousands of dollars to get in and then a few thousand promoting through direct mail with the wrong expectations…
…While the leader is promoting online to pitch you that this will work just as well offline. If you want to know the quickest path to success it’s this:
Do what the leaders do NOT what they say
For example, if I’m shooting a video and I’m talking about the vision of this new product that’s launching – I’m showing you all the cool things about it and that you can promote through Facebook or you can promote offline but…
I’ve got a link in my description that you can click and join me. That’s where I’m making most of my money or else I wouldn’t be doing it! For the most part, any marketer that you find on the Internet whether it be a blog Facebook or YouTube, that’s probably where they’re making most of their money. If you don’t have a mentor to help you develop this marketers eye it’s quite difficult to overcome these kind of road blocks.
At the end of the day you don’t know what you don’t know…

Affiliate Marketing For Beginners – Get A Mentor & Do Everything They Say
Right now I know you may be confused or overwhelmed. You’re not just subscribed to my YouTube channel on affiliate marketing and making money online…
you’re subscribed to many other Channels as well. Now I’m not telling you that you should pick me as a mentor. You should go with a business model and a mentor that you resonate with. Do everything that they say to the tee.
Make sure that what they’re doing and what they’re saying actually aligns. If it doesn’t it’s a huge red flag. Also, look at the support that they offer. Look at the different bonus training that they might offer to you.
What’s happening right now is a lot of people are recruiting people into programs that are completely outdated. So when you go through the program and go to implement some of these strategies they don’t work.
Again, it’s it’s a hard to navigate this online marketing world when you don’t know what you don’t know. It’s imperative to find the right mentor that actually cares about you and your success.
The “good guys” know your success is an extension of their success.
Ensure that the mentor you’re looking into offers some type of weekly coaching. Can you contact them through Facebook messenger when needed?
Most gurus won’t even message you back. If I don’t message you back, it’s either because you’re a time waster or your message ended up in my other folder;)
In closing, Most mentors are going to say one business model is better than the other. Of course I would argue that video marketing is the best thing since sliced bread because that’s what I do and that’s what I know.
Take everything with a grain of salt. Based off of your information make an educated decision on what’s best for you. Most importantly, invest in yourself by investing in the right mentor and you won’t have to deal with the shiny object syndrome and confusion anymore.
