$920 with Clickbank Affiliate Marketing and YouTube Paid Advertising

You guys haven’t seen writing posts in quite a while because I’ve been focusing on mastering YouTube ads further. I’ve been dabbling a little bit here and there for the past about two to three years, but decided to get super serious about YouTube ads, and the reason why is because if you watched one of my previous videos, I got sort of burn out from uploading constantly and keeping up with the YouTube algorithm, not that you need to upload constantly to succeed with YouTube.

I just felt that I sort of had to do that, and so that led to just me losing momentum and me not liking what I was doing. And so it’s not that affiliate marketing is bad, it’s that often we approach this business from the wrong perspective and with the wrong intentions. We really need to get clear on what we want and a game plan to help us accomplish that.

My Goal with Clickbank Affiliate Marketing

So my goal is to create a one to two-hour workday and live my perfect day every day and make at least five figures a month. I actually have a goal. I would absolutely love to make a million dollars in a year by working two hours a day, and I believe it’s truly possible when you have the right level of personal development, when you have the right strategy in place, when you have the right mentors.

And so I’ll eventually get there, and I think this is one of the turning points and this is kind of one of the strategies that I’m going to need to get there.

I’ve been in the lab just mastering YouTube ads. There’s a lot of moving parts, there’s a lot to it, but once you understand it, which is obviously my goal just to understand it on a completely deeper level, then I can teach you guys how to better deploy YouTube marketing, specifically paid ads inside of your business without dealing with a lot of the headaches and errors that I’ve dealt with in the past.

I’ve spent over $36,000 of my own money over the course of the past two years mastering YouTube ads, and I’ve been doing it for a while, and I knew enough to get by, but I really want to dig deep into optimization and all the intricate details that go along with YouTube ads.

We won’t get into that today, but I do want to show you what I’ve been up to.

The YouTube Marketing Campaign

Last Tuesday, today is Tuesday, October 9th, but last Tuesday I started running a brand new affiliate marketing campaign. I plan to have multiple campaigns running in different niches.

In this specific niche, you guys can see that I just started this campaign last Tuesday, and I kind of got lucky I think. Got a sale right out of the gate, and then went about a week without a sale, and that’s normal, especially when you’re tweaking the campaign, optimizing the campaign.

So everything is looking good. Very little optimization. What we’re going to start doing is optimizing this campaign, and what’s so cool about this specific campaign is my face is not involved, at least on the front end of this campaign, whatsoever.

So like my goal with this is not only create success with it, but to help other people duplicate it as well that may be newer online or people that may be looking for their breakthrough.

YouTube Paid Advertising Strategy for Clickbank

I’m not even using my own ads. I’m actually using somebody else’s ads.

It will continue to progress. It’s going to take a lot of testing, a lot of tweaking to as well. I know that. This is just the beginning, so I will continue to update you guys on my progress.

So if I’m not uploading quite frequently, it’s because I’m in the lab right now. I’m sharpening the saw. I’m in the trenches mastering a new trade. I’ve built a seven-figure business using free traffic strategies.

I’ve been doing free traffic strategies for the past three and a half, almost four years online, and it’s time to scale with paid traffic and really master paid traffic. So definitely will get deeper into the webinar game, get deeper into affiliate marketing, CPA marketing.

CPA Marketing Tutorial – Free Affiliate Marketing Traffic Method

There’s seven steps to this process, actually, really six without rinsing and repeating but nonetheless, I’m gonna show you how to build a six-figure affiliate marketing business using CPA offers and YouTube-themed channels.

1. Free Affiliate Marketing Traffic for CPA Marketing

First step is you want to do market research.

The way that I do that is I got to a website called offervault.com. I’ve mentioned this website in other videos, but this is basically a website that houses different affiliate offers as well as affiliate networks.

If we come to this website, we could do our market research, and the way that we can do that is we can actually look at one of two things.

1) We can look at the live searches. This is based off of what people are typing in right now, so we can use this as ideas for different markets and niches

2) Trending Searches, you can see the top 10 trending searches based off of the live searches

We’ll go ahead and just arbitrarily pick weight loss, so I’m gonna go ahead and click on weight loss.

You guys can see that we’ve got tons of different offers based around weight loss.

I’m just going to look at this list of offers. I’m gonna write down at least 10 to 20 of these different offers.

We’ve got a few right here. We’ve got Nutrisystem, Phen375, Femme Youth, Ultra Max Garcinia, Kou Tea, Keto Base, and EcoSlim.

What we want to do now is we actually want to apply at some of the affiliate networks where these products are housed in. I’m going to do those. I’m going to scroll back up here. We go to, for example, this Kou Tea here. It looks like it’s part of G4Offers. What we’re going to do is we’re actually going to join the network.

2. Free Affiliate Marketing Traffic for CPA Products

Now, not every network is just going to approve you right off the bat. Most networks are going to take time to actually approve you. There’s an interview process that you have to go through.

They’ll ask you some questions as far as your history with affiliate marketing, with CPA offers, how much volume you’re bringing in, what type of traffic methods you plan on using, so on and so forth.

Now, a lot of you guys that are probably watching this are newer, and so you might not be able to opt in to these different affiliate networks and get accounts, but what you can do is join networks in the time being like peerfly.com and even clickbank.com.

You’re still going to want to create content around these specific keywords right here, around these specific products, in other words, because just because you may not be able to get approved and promote one of these products, what you can do is still do a review on the product, but then promote another related product in return.

We’ll get into that in future posts, but for now, I want to show you guys just the general overview of the six-step process and what it looks like.

Apply for CPA Networks

There is this affiliate network here called PeerFly. This is one of the networks I would recommend that you start joining. I’ve been using this specific affiliate network for about eight years now.

Another one that I’d recommend would be ClickBank. You could do the same thing here in these networks. You can go to offers over here, and I can go to Browse Offers, and then I can go to category, and if my niche is the diet and weight loss niche, what I can do is just go to Health, Fitness and Weight Loss, and I can start writing down all these product names right here.

This offer vault will just give you more options and more product name ideas. The idea here is to create content. What we’re going to be doing is we’re going to be creating content around product name keywords.

What we’re going to do is we’re also going to check out clickbank.com. You can get approved very, very easily to ClickBank as well. I can just go to Create Account here on the homepage, follow the onscreen instructions, and it’s free to create an account.

After we do that, we’re going to go ahead, and we’re going to log in, and we’re going to go to the Marketplace up here, and we’re going to go to Health and Fitness. Again, what I would do is I would write down all these product names right here in this specific niche.

3. Create a YouTube Channel

Again, we’re going to continue to write down other product names, and then after we do that, the next step is to create a supplement review channel. In my case, it would be like a weight loss and diet supplement review channel.

Now, of course, we applied to our affiliate network, and then we are going to create the supplement review channel.

I created a YouTube channel a few weeks ago. It’s called Pure Health Digest. What we’re going to be doing is uploading slide-type videos to this YouTube channel, in other words, PowerPoint or keynote-type videos.

4. Create a Slideshow of Your CPA Product

You can see that I’ve got a full keynote right here that I created before I went ahead and I shot this video. This specific video is based around a product called Purefit Keto. I go over what it is, the ingredients, does it work, what are the side effects, and my final verdict. You can feel free to use this same framework for your videos as well.

What I would do after I have this set up is I need to also create a script around this specific SlideShare video. What we’re going to do is we’re going to go to Google, and I’m going to type in “Purefit Keto review.”

I’m going to look at all these different reviews, and I’m going to compile information that fits the mold of this specific PowerPoint presentation.

I could type in “Purefit Keto side effects,” and then I can go through one of these reviews and pick out where it talks about the side effects and put that in a little text edit.

In this case, what we would do is we would go here. Let’s just pretend this is a review. It looks like it’s not a complete review on this product, but we’ll pretend that, for the sake of this video, that it is. I would just copy this, and I would pull up a little text edit, and I would type in something like “Purefit Keto side effects,” and then, of course, I would paste it right here.

5. Order A Voice Over For Your CPA Marketing Offer

I do the same thing for the other subjects within this specific SlideShare. I would go to “what is Purefit Keto?” Once I have this compiled, then I would take it, and I would get a voiceover done, so I would hire somebody from a website called upwork.com or fiverr.com. For example, I went to Fiverr, I typed in “voiceover,” and I would give, like for example, this Kelly girl, the script, and she would read the whole entire script and accompany it with this PowerPoint presentation here.

6. Get Free Affiliate Marketing Traffic From YouTube

Then once that’s done, she would send it back to me, and then I would upload it straight to YouTube, and I would optimize it so it can be seen by the search engines so when people would type in “Purefit Keto review,” my video would be ranked at the top.

This is sort of the result that you would get. I’m just going to play like maybe 10, 20 seconds of this video so you can kind of get the idea.

“In this Purefit Keto review, I’ll be giving you both the pros and cons to using this super popular fat-loss supplement so you can find out whether it’s right for you or not. Now, please make sure that you watch this video from start to finish because at the end of the video, if you still want to get Purefit Keto, I will show you where to get it for the absolute cheapest place. Let’s check out the pros of this product: Ideal fat-…”

It’ll go through the pros and the cons, and then the conclusion, and then he’ll tell people to click the link in the description. When somebody clicks this link, it goes to the affiliate site, and when somebody would buy Purefit Keto, he would actually earn a commission off of that.

7. Rinse & Repeat

That’s the process. That’s how it works. Then I would just simply rinse and repeat this with the next keyword.

In this case, one of our keywords was Purefit Keto. The next keyword would be like Nutrisystem, create another video around that using the same format in this PowerPoint presentation here, and then, again, using Phen375, I’m going to put all these videos on this channel right here.

You should notice after uploading I would probably say maybe a dozen videos, even maybe 5-10, you should start seeing some sales and seeing some results.

As a matter of fact, I was able to build a six-figure business, actually, a multiple six-figure business creating channels just like this.

If I jump back here to ClickBank, you guys can see if I go to my Dashboard and then go to Reporting, you can see that just this year alone in this one affiliate account, I’ve generated $65,497.40, so this is a process that definitely works. I would recommend that you go out there and implement this.

Clickbank For Beginners: $66,000 In PROFIT For FREE Part-Time

Today I’m going to show you how I’ve made over $60,000 in the past 11 months just promoting ClickBank products part-time.

It’s a four-step process. First, I’m going to show you how to pick a product with a gravity score of 50 or above. By the way, if this is all foreign to you, do not worry. We’ll cover everything in as much detail as possible.

Step two, you need to pick one traffic strategy and go all out with it. You’re going to need traffic to this product. You’re going to need eyeballs in other words, and you’re going to need to pick one strategy.

There are so many people that are trying to do Facebook one day and then YouTube and then Instagram, and they’re splitting their focus in multiple directions. You need to be 100% all in with one thing. I’ve been 100% all in with YouTube the past five years.

Not to mention, it is free traffic. I’m also going to show you in this video how you don’t have to show your face if you choose not to. There’s tons of YouTube channels out there that have hundreds and thousands, and even millions of subscribers without showing their face whatsoever.

Then number three, I’m going to show you how to create content, very easy to do. Number four, I’m going to show you how to direct people to your affiliate link. An affiliate link is your own custom link so sales can be tracked back to you and so you can get awesome commissions like this right here.

Clickbank For Beginners

Let’s go ahead and let’s dive in here. I’m going to act as if I’m somebody that’s going to go out there. We’re going to select a product. I’m going to show you how I’m going to build the campaign and everything, and you can choose, whoever gets to this video first can choose whether they want to take this and run with it or not because this is something that has brought in over $1 million for me personally in commissions online with affiliate marketing.

Now I say this again not to brag, not to boast. Also as an income disclaimer by me saying that I’ve made this much, there’s no guarantee that you’re going to make this much. This took persistent work.

It took nights of stress and overwhelm, and it was because I wasn’t patient. I had to realize that the video content that I put up today was going to make me money 30, 60, 90 days from now. Your income is in direct proportion to the value that you give to the marketplace. This isn’t trading time for money.

We’re all wired, if we’ve worked a 9 to 5 job in our lives, we’re wired to trade time for money. That’s not what this is. This is highly leveraged stuff. It’s like do you want a few thousand dollars today or do you want a few hundred thousand dollars months or years ahead, right?

That’s something that I often say in my channel to remind you guys that this is going to take work.

With that being said, let’s dive into the content.

Clickbank For Beginners – Setting Up Your Clickbank Account

By the way, it’s free to sign up for ClickBank. Just go to clickbank.com.

What we’re going to do after we’re logged in and we’re in the marketplace, we’re going to scroll down and we’ve got tons of different categories right here and the category that I selected kind of premeditated this whole entire case study before I shot this video was green products.

We’ll select green products and I decided to select the power efficiency guide, that has a gravity of 102, and the reason why I selected this guide is because you want to pick a product that at last has a gravity of 50 or above. The higher the gravity, the better the product sells. If you’re somebody that’s new starting out, you definitely want to go with a product that’s already proven to convert. The higher the number, the better conversions and the better that it sells.

I just kind of arbitrarily picked this product. You don’t necessarily have to be passionate about your niche, although that’s useful so you don’t quit early. Some people are motivated, like super motivated by money if they’re able to see a game plan and exactly how it needs to be executed. If that’s you, take this and run with it, but really stick to it for the next 30 to 60 days.

Clickbank For Beginners – Look At JV Page

The next thing that we want to do is look at the affiliate page because we want to find out what this product is really about.

Typically, these affiliate areas, they provide swipes, tools, resources to help us better promote the product. It just makes everything overall easier. Some affiliate resource sections are better than others. This one really isn’t that good. It’s just got a few emails that you can send out. If you don’t have an email list, this really isn’t useful for you. It doesn’t really even tell us about the product whatsoever.

What we want to do is we want to jump back over here and we want to go to of course the sales page, which I’m on right here, and what I can also do is I can read the text presentation, the text version, which is useful because you can go through, you can just scroll through and find what the product’s about. This specific product, it’s called The Power Efficiency Guide. It’s helping people save money on their electric bill. I kind of just start from the bottom, work my way to the top. It says, “There’s only one thing standing between you and savings of $160 a month or more on your electric bill.”

What I’m going to do is take these little buzzwords like “saving money on your electric bill, preserving energy,” right. I’m getting all these ideas just from looking at this one sentence on the sales letter. It’s giving me tons of ideas as to what people would type in to YouTube or Google if they were a prospective possible customer.

Since the traffic strategy that we’re going to be using is going to be in fact YouTube and it’s going to be a bit of Google, too, because you can rank videos in Google.

Now what we want to do is we want to come up with search phrases that people may type in, aka customers, to find this product, and this is where it gets really fun and interesting. I’m just going to think off the top of my head if I were a customer, what would I type in to the search engines to find this product?

One search term would be “save on my electric bill”, “how to save on electric bill”, “how to save electricity”, “how to preserve electricity”, “how to preserve energy in my home.” I would write down just a ton of these keywords. We want to write down as many as we can in 5 or 10 minutes.

What we’re going to do after is go over to YouTube and we want to go for the low hanging fruit. Low hanging fruit is like they’re ready to buy. The first type of person would be somebody that’s actually searching for The Power Efficiency Guide, right, so “Power Efficiency Guide” and then even “Power Efficiency Guide review” and then “Power Efficiency Guide does it work”. That just kind of gives you some more ideas.

Then what I’m going to do is start taking these search phrases plug them into YouTube and see if I can get some other ideas. You’ll notice when you plug in a search term, check it out, you see these other ideas that pop up. YouTube’s actually telling us what users are most commonly typing in to their search engine.

We have how to save on my electric bill, that’s even better, how to save on my electric bill. What we can do is we can delete this keyword because we have it in the search phrase right here. We also had save on electric bill, lower my power bill at home.

What these different search phrases would represent is different topics that we would talk about within our YouTube videos.

Now don’t worry, you’re probably wondering, “Well, I know nothing about how to help people save money on their electric bill.” Don’t worry. We’ll get to that in just a second. But what we want to do is we want to repeat this process over and over and over again. So I’d take the next keyword. Let’s just pick this one right here, how to preserve electricity.

Clickbank For Beginners – Creating Content

Then step number three is we want to create the content now. What we’re going to do is we’re going to go to Google and I’m going to take some of these keyword phrases or I would just take all of them.

What we want to do is take this search phrase and throw it in to Google. Then what we can do is we can look at these articles here and we can have these articles, we can basically take out these articles, number one, we can have them rewritten ’cause you don’t want to plagiarize.

You can have them rewritten and then you could also hire somebody to put them in a PowerPoint presentation and then you could have somebody read that presentation for you so it’s completely outsourced if you don’t want to do it.

What we’re doing is we’re taking content that’s already out there, we’re using our marketing knowledge to create a video around that content and then rank that content at the top of YouTube search engine and Google search engine.

If you notice, that’s what most people are doing online. We’re not reinventing the wheel here. There’s been teachings and principles throughout time that have been regurgitated and regurgitated and told in sort of a different way, and that’s essentially what we’re doing on the internet.

We’re taking a concept, we’re taking an idea and we’re recreating it so it’s easy to understand for the next person. The idea of course as an entrepreneur especially is to be able to explain a concept or an idea better than the next person. The better that you can explain something, the more likely that the consumer is going to buy from you, right.

A lot of people are like, “Well, you can’t steal information,” yada, yada, yada. Of course, you can’t steal information, but what you could do is you can take that information, you can repurpose it, rewrite it and then, explain it in even more layman terms.

That’s what we would do here is we would repurpose this content and our video could be the 15 Steps or the 15 Ways to Save Money on Your Water Bill and it’d be a little power point presentation.

You’d walk people through how to do that or have somebody else do it.

At the very end, you would have what’s called a call to action where you tell people what do to next. “Click the link below to learn more about how you can save money on your water bill and particularly, there’s a guide that will show you everything from start to finish and you’ll be able to save as much as $160 a month.” That’s what you would say at the end.

The idea is to actually put your link in the description of your videos.

The question is “Well, Josh, where do I go to get these types of videos created?” You can go to fiverr.com.

I absolutely love Fiverr and you can just type in “create PowerPoint” and see what pops up real quick. You will find a great person that you could go with and have this whole entire process outsourced.

Clickbank For Beginners – Step-by-Step Summary

What you want to do is type in the search phrase. Type one of these search phrases into Google.
Find an article that you like around that search phrase.
Have that article rewritten.
Give that rewritten article to somebody that will do a voice over for you.
They’re going to create the PowerPoint presentation, too. They’ll send it back to you.
Upload it to YouTube.
Optimize it for how to save on electric water heater so you’re going to want that specific search phrase in the title of your video. It’s going to be a description and within the tags of your video.

Below I’ll break down the entire system from start to finish to see if this is one of the few online business opportunities that stand out amongst the crows.

The FX-RIO funnel starts by asking you two questions and then having you fill out your email address like shown below:

Today I’m going to be doing a review of the EZ Bay Payday offer.

Like many EZ Bay Payday is making claims that you can make money easily on eBay. Question is are the claims legitimate?

Like most products I review, I highly doubt it. I’ll break down my transparent review review below.

EZ Bay Payday Review

Let’s cut to the chase. What is the EZ Bay Payday? As I stated it’s a website making claims that you can make a fortune from eBay. Specifically, the headline states you can get started with 5 minutes and 3 clicks….

Not to mention make as much as $2,000 per day as a result. If that were true I would have made about $100,000 at least by now with as many keys I’ve pressed so far. In all honesty though the creator makes such outlandish claims that it seems unrealistic like any other scam website out there.

Here’s exactly what the EZ Bay Paday website looks like:

How Does EZ Bay Payday Work?

If you’re in the sky about this opportunity it’s time to bring you back down to earth. As promised I’m going to remain 100% transparent which is refreshing compared to most review sites online.

Truth is, Most other EZ Bay Paday reviews will tell you how incredible the product is to earn a quick buck from clickbank by sending you to their EZ Bay Paday affiliate link.

The website clearly doesn’t show you the steps you’re going to take to make money on eBay. Because the video is so vague from an educational stand point it’s a huge red flag. Any website that talks about some secret loophole traffic source or shortcut to making money without any real explanation is one you should click right off of.

There is great money being made on eBay through retail arbitrage and sourcing products but it’s not the big company on campus that it once was. If you look deeply into ecommerce and how money is being made online right now, Amazon is the one at the top of the list.

You can find EZ Bay Payday listed on the Clickbank affiliate market place. Right now it’s sitting at 34 gravity which means it’s selling about 34 units per week on average. This is an indicator that it sells ok but not too well.

The idea is to find a product that sells well AND has a low refund rate. It’s an indicator it’s a high quality product with a great sales message. This means that if you become a testimonial of the product and decide to promote it, it will convert well for you

In this case, EZ Bay Payday doesn’t fit my expectations. The last two products that I exposed in the same category where Income League and Finish Line Network.

Typically Clickbank really cracks down when it comes to accepting scam offers into their network but it looks like every once in a while one slips through the cracks. If you look at other networks such as ClickBetter they tend to accept these kind of offers.

Anyway, just an observation about EZ Bay Payday…

EZ Bay Payday is an outdated Ebay course on how to use the platform to sell physical products. Doesn’t give you much more info than that!

I created my website NoBsPayday.com to help you stay away from programs exactly like this. It’s hilarious to see the claims that various students made $400 and $500+ yesterday.

There are various indicators that give away these people are hired actors.

The filming is too professional and someone like myself that has been doing video for the past 5 years, I can say that there is no natural flow to these testimonials. Typically you might see someone in their kitchen, car, office but the fact that Tamara Ston (one of the students) claims she made $500 her first day with EZ Bay Payday is complete garbage.

I’ve been in the space for 10 years and networked with thousands of online entrepreneurs. Not a single one has said they made $500 their first day online. Most struggle for months and years before they find the right mentor and developed the right mindset.

My Honest Take On EZ Bay Payday

After doing hundreds of video and writing dozens of articles on make money online systems my guess is that the owner of the EZ Bay Payday system is not a practitioner of his/her product.

They are selling the story vs giving tangible value as to how to build a business on eBay before selling the product. At least give a 30,000 foot perspective of the process before selling someone.

If they are going to scam people, at least create a product around something that’s trending more right now. Good riddance. The truth is, most people use their internet marketing talent for evil vs good.

They care more about creating a deeper pocket book while taking away from others. I always believed if you give people expectations of what it really takes online with up to date products…

It might not appear as ‘sexy’ from a marketing perspective but you’ll get a lot higher quality people to purchase from you

The Truth About EZ Bay Payday

Instead of wasting your time by purchasing the product just to find out it’s rehashed please take my word for it. I’ve reviewed hundreds of make money online products and 99% of the time when I see websites like this it leads down the same pathway.

Here’s the deal with EZ Bay Payday:

It’s a marketing scheme to get you to buy a low ticket item and then purchase various upsells.
Many affiliate websites promoting it are bias just to make a commision from it via clickbank
The creator builds a big email list as a result
The creator goes on to promote more of their own scammy products (or as an affiliate)

It’s that simple!

I see this website going away fairly quickly when the hype dies out and another one takes it place.

It’s a vicious cycle that repeats. This leads to my conclusion. The blind lead the blind in the online marketing world.

You have to be able to read through the B.S. and find the 2% legitimate people online. People will continue to chase the shiny object down the road thinking there is some secret to making money online.

Once you can accept the fact that there isn’t you gain clarity and start heading in the right direction.

EZ Bay Paday Verdict

I didn’t really need to write this part but I will anyway. Stay far away from this website and always read between the lines when you see outrageous claims.

What exactly is the 30 Day Summit that Russell Brunson raves about over at 30days.com? Contrary to other programs I’ve reviewed like Finish Line Network and income league , this one appears to deliver on all its promises. It was inspired by Russell 2 a few months ago when he decided to shoot an email over to his customers that have made over a million dollars using the clickfunnels software. These are also known as his 2 comma club members.

The email basically asked what they would to get back on top if they no longer had a name in the industry, a list, jv partners, or any money…

30days.com is the farthest thing from a scam. Even though the free 30 day summit has yet to start I know Russell Brunson very well and he’s always delivered on what he promised. Not to mention I know some of the 2 comma club winners personally and have spoken along with them at a few events.

These are all documented people who have become successful because of Russell Brunson’s coaching. Russell is one of the few “good guys” online and hasn’t just built a name from regurgitated info, but has a SaaS company that does millions of dollars every single year.

He’s also the author of books known as expert secrets, dotcom secrets and the latest “software secrets.” I have 2 of the books and am looking to get the 3rd.

These books outline exactly what russell has done to build his successful business with no stone left unturned. Revealing exactly how he built his audience /followers and the funnels he used to monetize them.
